These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of aunetwork.org and the content, services, and platforms provided by Advocacy Unified Network (“AUN”, “we”). By accessing the site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Last updated: July 2026.
AUN grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the site for lawful purposes. Unless otherwise indicated, you may quote and share AUN content with attribution to Advocacy Unified Network and a link to the source; commercial republication, systematic scraping, text-and-data mining for commercial model training, and bulk reproduction require prior written permission. All trademarks, logos, and content remain the property of AUN or their respective owners; no rights are granted by implication.

AUN may suspend or terminate access, remove content, and refuse service, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, where it reasonably believes these Terms are breached — and expressly reserves all rights to pursue civil remedies and report criminal conduct (including defamation, fraud, impersonation, and computer misuse) to competent authorities in any jurisdiction.
Information you submit (including membership applications and partnership enquiries) must be accurate, complete, and yours to provide. Submitting an application creates no entitlement to membership; admission decisions rest solely with AUN under its criteria. Platform accounts are personal to the registrant, who is responsible for credential security and for all activity under the account. AUN may verify submitted information and may decline or revoke membership or access for misrepresentation.
AUN content — including research, analysis, and commentary — is published in good faith for general information and reflects the assessment of its authors at the date of publication. It does not constitute legal, financial, investment, medical, or other professional advice, and must not be relied upon as such. Opinions in individual publications are those of the authors and do not necessarily represent an institutional position of AUN. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; AUN does not endorse and is not responsible for third-party content, products, services, or privacy practices.
The site, platforms, and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, availability, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. AUN does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor that the site is free of harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AUN, its officers, staff, members, volunteers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, nor for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or reputation, arising from or connected with use of — or inability to use — the site, platforms, or content, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid AUN for the relevant service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or €100 if no payment was made. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for intent or gross negligence.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AUN and its personnel from all claims, damages, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your submissions, or your unlawful use of the site or AUN's name and platforms.
AUN may amend these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page; continued use constitutes acceptance. If any provision is held invalid, the remainder continues in force. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, form the entire agreement regarding site use.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. All disputes arising from or connected with the site or these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of The Hague, the Netherlands, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
Reference to “we”, “AUN”, “our” and “us”, etc. are references to Advocacy Unified Network at Fluwelen Burgwal 58, 2511CJ, The Hague, Netherlands. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of these Terms at any time. You should review the Terms periodically as, by using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are dissatisfied with any portion of the Site, or with any of these Terms, your sole and exclusive remedy is the discontinuation of your use of this Site.
Any information contained on the Site is for personal use only and may not be sold or distributed in any form. We reserve the right to suspend the use of the Site generally or to block your access to any part of the Site and/or to suspend or terminate your rights to use the Site or any part of it if we suspect misuse. In accessing any part of our Site, you agree not to use the Site or cause or permit the Site to be used in any manner which may prejudice or jeopardise the integrity of the Site or the operation of any network. You agree not to collect information about others, including e-mail addresses, without their consent or to distribute, download, upload, or transmit any material which contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, or other harmful or disruptive components. In addition, you will not use the Site for any commercial purposes without the prior written consent of AUN. You further agree to defend, hold harmless and indemnify AUN for any loss, expenses or damage we suffer or incur if you breach any of these obligations or any other Terms.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right to access and view the Site and the materials displayed thereon. However, no right, title, or interest in any such materials will be granted or transferred to you as a result of any permitted use of such materials. All materials incorporated in or accessible through the Site, including, without limitation, text, photographs, images, graphics, illustrations, logos, button icons, audio clips, video clips, podcasts, software and other content, and the compilation, collection, arrangement and assembly thereof (including the look and feel of the Site), are protected by international copyright laws, and are owned, controlled or licensed by AUN or by the original creators of such materials or their permitted licensors.
All such rights are reserved. Such materials may be used only for viewing the Site in the ordinary course. Any other use of such materials, including any copying, reproduction, modification, sale, distribution, extraction, re-utilisation, transmission, republication, downloading, displaying, posting, performance, or other exploitation thereof, by any means or medium, without the prior written permission of the copyright owner is strictly prohibited. In addition, where any content on the Site is not owned by AUN the use of such content shall be prohibited unless the consent of the owner has been obtained and the use of such material has been notified to us in advance. Certain of the intellectual property rights proprietary to AUN have been registered, including, for example certain logos and/or trademarks. You acknowledge and agree that all trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material or content contained within the Site shall remain at all times owned by AUN or its licensors. AUN reserve absolutely their rights in such registered intellectual property rights. You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorised by AUN in writing. Notwithstanding the foregoing reservation of rights by AUN, AUN actively encourage the dissemination of certain of the materials contained in the Site, on condition that the prior written consent has been obtained from AUN. As such, you are invited to make any such request to AUN by contacting us. AUN shall use their reasonable endeavours to reply to all such requests as soon as is reasonably practicable and will, at its reasonable discretion, permit the copying, reproduction, modification, sale, distribution, extraction, re-utilisation, transmission, republication, downloading, displaying, posting, performance, or other exploitation of its proprietary materials where it is deemed desirable by AUN.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and security. All personal data that we collect from you will be processed in accordance with our privacy policy and these Terms.
The Site may contain links to third party websites. These links are provided for your convenience only and you are solely responsible for evaluating the content and accuracy of materials on such third-party websites. If you choose to access linked third-party websites, you do so at your own risk.
You expressly understand and agree that (to the fullest extent permitted by law), AUN shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or any other damages whatsoever, arising out of your downloading and/or using or referring to or relying on any information contained on this Site. The Site is provided by AUN on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permissible by law, AUN disclaim all warranties, conditions and undertakings, express or implied. In particular AUN do not warrant that the Site will be continuously available, or that your use of the Site or any function of the Site will be uninterrupted or error free, or that the Site and server will be free from infection, viruses and/or other components that have contaminating or destructive properties. Where you rely on any information, material or services on the Site, you do so entirely at your own risk.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and AUN with respect to your access and use of the Site and any third-party website accessed through the Site. If any of these Terms shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable form these Terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
The Site has been designed and these Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Dutch laws. Any dispute arising out of the access or use of the Site will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Netherlands courts.
